DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT - FES
Today our private Morocco tour starts visiting the Hassan II Mosque then we drive to Rabat where we make a visit to the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will depart to Meknes to explore Meknes. The guided tour will include Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries & the city rampart. We will depart to Volubilis (the Roman ruins) and Moulay Idriss (the holy town). We will continue to Fes where we stay for dinner and accommodation at a traditional riad.
DAY 2: FES PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
The "Terra Nomadic Travels" Morocco guided trip continues with a guided tour of Fes. Fes is a city in northern Morocco that is frequently referred to be the cultural capital of the country. It is most renowned for its walled medina of Fes El Bali, which has medieval architecture and lively souks. This excursion will include a stop to a tannery and a pottery cooperative to view authentic Moroccan handicrafts. Overnight stay in a local hotel with dinner included.
DAY 3: FES - CHEFCHAOUEN
Today, we will go from Fes to Chefchaouen across the Ouazazane and Rif mountain ranges. Chaouen is a city in Morocco's northwest. It is the capital of the same-named province and is known for its blue-hued architecture. We spend the night along a nearby road.
DAY 4: CHEFCHAOUEN - TANGIER
We continue our private trip of Morocco to Tangier today. Since Phoenician days, Tangier, a Moroccan port city on the Strait of Gibraltar, has served as a crucial link between Africa and Europe. Its hillside medina is home to the Dar el Makhzen, a sultan's palace-turned-museum of Moroccan antiques. Overnight stay in a local hotel with dinner included.
DAY 5: TANGIER - ASSILAH - RABAT
The Morocco vacation hosted by Marrakech Activities continues as we explore the Atlantic shore in Assilah and then travel to Rabat. Rabat, the capital of Morocco, is situated on the coasts of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic Ocean. The Kasbah of the Udayas is a well-known symbol of the city's Islamic and French colonial past. Overnight stay in a local hotel with dinner included.
DAY 6: RABAT - CASABLANCA
