DAY 1: CASABLANCA
14 day Imperial cities and desert Tour from Casablanca starts and we pick you up from the airport, we will visit the biggest mosque in Morocco (Hassan II mosque). Accommodation in local hotel with dinner.
DAY 2: CASABLANCA - RABAT - CHEFHAOUEN
We pick you up from the airport, we will visit the biggest mosque in Morocco (Hassan II mosque). Then we drive to Rabat where we will see Hassan II tower, the kasbah of Oudaya. Afterwards, we drive to white-blue city of Chefchaouen.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - FES
Today we will explore Chefchaouen medina nad then we drive to Fes where we’ll arrive in the evening and here we stay overnight in a traditional riad/hotel with dinner.
DAY 4: FES PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
Fes is a northeastern Moroccan city often referred to as the country’s cultural capital. It’s primarily known for its Fes El Bali walled medina, with medieval architecture, vibrant souks and old-world atmosphere. This tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts.
DAY 5: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA
Guided tour from Casablanca to Fes and Sahara desert continues. We drive from Fes to Midelt and Merzouga desert. We visit Ifrane, a famous winter ski resort. Then we visit the cedars forest in Azrou where we may watch the monkeys. We continue Morocco tour driving across the Middle Atlas mountains passing Erfoud,famous for fossil products and then to Rissani. We reach Merzouga desert in the afternoon. We stay in Merzouga desert in comfortable hotel with dinner.
DAY 6: DESERT TOUR AROUND MERZOUGA
Tour from Casablanca to desert with experienced guides continues also today. We investigate Merzouga desert extensively. We will also visit Khamlia hamlet, renowned for its music and inhabited by Gnawa people originally from Sudan and Mali. In the evening, we will prepare for a camel ride to the Merzouga desert camp, where we will spend the night in desert tents. We drink mint tea with Nomads in the Sahara desert. Before the sunset, we will climb high dunes in the Moroccan desert to observe the spectacular sunset. At camp, we have a typical Moroccan meal as desert guides perform music.
DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT - TODRA VALLEY - DADES VALLEY
We will continue our tour from Casablanca to Merzouga, where we will see the Sahara desert dawn. Then we ride camels back to the hamlet, and our private Morocco trip continues after breakfast to Rissani, then to the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, Tinghir and Todra. It is a popular climbing location. After lunch in the gorge, we visit the Dades valley, where we admire the "monkey toes" rock formations. We spend the night in the Dades valley and have supper and breakfast there.
DAY 8: DADES GORGES - KELAA MAGONA - OUARZAZATE
Today after breakfast we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue our trip via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis to arrive early evening in Ouarzazate to explore the city. Then we will depart to Ait Benhaddou and visit the World Heritage Site (Kasbah and village). We stay overnight in Ouarzazate.
DAY 9: Ouarzazate - MARRAKECH
Today we will depart to Ait Benhaddou and visit the World Heritage Site (Kasbah and village). Then we will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village - Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech.We stay in Marrakech in local riad/hotel.
DAY 10: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR
Today a full guided tour is scheduled to explore Marrakech city (known as the "Red City"). It is the most important former imperial city in Morocco (situated near Atlas Mountain). Marrakech comprises an old fortified city (The Medina) and also an very modern city (called Gueliz). Marrakech has the largest traditional market in Morocco. We will explore deeper Djemaa el Fna square - which is full of story-tellers, water sellers, dancers, snakes charmers. Then we also visit the Koutoubia Mosque. Overnight in hotel with dinner.
DAY 11: Marrakech - Essaouira
Today we head towards Essaouira to visit this city. Essaouira has also been known by its Portuguese name of Mogador. In the afternoon you will have free program. We stay overnight in local hotel..
DAY 12: Essaouira
Today in the morning we explore Essaouira coast which is well known for its kite surfing and windsurfing, horse riding, camel riding along the beach. Essaouira is famous for its Gnaoua Festival of Music. Along the half way between Essaouira and Marrakech you will see enormous Argan tree on both sides of the road. These Argan trees are frequently climbed by goats. Argan oil is produced by several women's cooperatives and it is used to prepare couscous, salads. Moreover it was traditionally used as a treatment for skin diseases before being founded as good enough for cosmetics by Europeans manufacturers. Still stop by one of these cooperatives is worthy to see how Berber women squeezed the Argan fruits between hands to extract this precious oil. We arrive to our hotel in Marrakech and if time permit we go out for a walk
DAY 13: Essaouira - MARRAKECH
Transfer from Esasouira to Marrakech. Free program in city and overnight in hotel with dinner.
DAY 14: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
